For video equipment like this years ago, I might have had to go into a considerably longer review describing quality, adjustments, usability and other factors. This camcorder makes all of that much more simple.First, the most important thing. This unit records excellent HD images. While bright sunlight (not facing the sun) is ideal, you'll come out just fine in other lighting situations as well. Just don't expect the images produced to be quite as nice as in good lighting conditions.The steadiness of the images from hand held is quite good.
